Office Space Planner/Designer

Louisiana Office Products is a locally operated Office Furniture and Office Supply provider established in 1975. We are a mid-market service driven office furniture provider for the New Orleans area and beyond. We assist clients in selecting office furniture that fits their office space and needs and procuring that furniture for them. We also provide delivery and installation. 

Job Description: Office Space Planner/Designer to plan offices with the appropriate office furniture/systems. Work with clients and salespeople in developing layout and color selections. Prepare project proposals. Present proposal to clients. Maintain catalogs and literature library. Product knowledge training and continuing education. 

Job Requirements: Degree in Interior Design. AutoCAD, CET or Giza Drafting Skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook Calendar. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Work with team of Account Representatives.

Office Furniture Installer

  • Job Title: Office Furniture Installer 
  • Job Location: Harahan, LA 70123
  • Full-time M-F, 7am- 4pm
  • Competitive salary based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

As an Office Furniture Installer, you will:

  • Work closely with project managers and clients to understand installation requirements.
  • Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and arrange various types of office furniture, including desks, chairs, cubicles, shelving units, and more.
  • Ensure furniture is installed accurately and in accordance with design plans and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Handle tools and equipment with care to avoid damage to furniture or property.
  • Collaborate with a team to complete installations within specified timeframes.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area, both on-site and in the warehouse.
  • Uphold safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in office furniture installation preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in furniture assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret furniture assembly instructions and floor plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to overcome on-site challenges effectively.
  • Physical stamina to lift, move, and assemble furniture pieces as needed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Punctuality and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
