Job Responsibilities:
As an Office Furniture Installer, you will:
- Work closely with project managers and clients to understand installation requirements.
- Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and arrange various types of office furniture, including desks, chairs, cubicles, shelving units, and more.
- Ensure furniture is installed accurately and in accordance with design plans and manufacturer guidelines.
- Handle tools and equipment with care to avoid damage to furniture or property.
- Collaborate with a team to complete installations within specified timeframes.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area, both on-site and in the warehouse.
- Uphold safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in office furniture installation preferred, but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in furniture assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret furniture assembly instructions and floor plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills to overcome on-site challenges effectively.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and assemble furniture pieces as needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
